Thanks to Lizzie, who gave me the heads up that the next Lynn Viehl Darkyn book now has a cover. Nightborn is the first book in a Darkyn trilogy, and has a release date of March 6th.

Ok, so this is not a a continuation of the “Novel of the Darkyn” series, but a spin-off trilogy “Lords of the Darkyn”. I have the Darkyn series & the Kyndred series on my bookshelf (still to be read). Do we assume the events in these books take place after the other two series? Is Kyndred considered a spin-off as well?
I know that Kyndred is a spin-off of the Darkyn and those books happen after that series, I assume that NightBorn will continue after the next Kyndred is release. That seems to be the pattern she writes…
Both series are awesome, I love Lynn Viehl’s writting! One of the few series I’ve re-read.
So they are connected series? I wonder if you need to read one to enjoy the other?
Thanks Lizzie!
One day I will get to these books…*sigh*
This is another one I haven’t gotten to yet. God, our TBR mountains know no bounds…
OMG…I almost want to cry when I look at all the books on my bookshelf still to read and then the TBR list. Plus, I just went and bought a bunch more at the Borders closing sales. What is wrong with me???? LOL!
The series can stand alone, it’s more interesting when you read both
It’s a syndrome that we all suffer from! We need to start a “TBR Pile” support group!
Yes! I agree!
Like I said before, the size of the TBR pile is scary. Not having enough on the TBR pile would be scarier. Whats a girl to do?
You are so right K! I feel better now about my TBR pile-LOL!
I think it could actually be called medicinal at this point…
I’m sorry for Lynn Viehl fans, but from all of her books, this cover is.. weird.. Seems like a bad case of photoshop, IMO
I thought the cover was good, but the funky eyes sort of threw me for a minute.
