Looks like the angel invasion continues. Michelle Rowen will be starting up a new YA series next year called The Nightwatchers. The cover for the first book, Dark Kiss, is out now. Dude has a serious Chris Isaak vibe going on here, but I like it.
Cynthia Eden has upped the cover for the second book in her Fallen series, called Angel Betrayed. This one is due out on June 26th.
Hmmm, interesting. I like the cover of Dark Kiss, but it does look like Edward from Twilight to me (although I can see Isaak as well!). Good thing it’s a YA book!
There’s something off about Angel’s Betrayed cover, I don’t know if it’s the guys face or that he looks to heavy to fly…I can’t figure it out.
Hm, I can see what you mean about Edward (its all in the hair). My first thought was Elvis, but even I shook my head at that one.
Second cover dude is…manly. Perhaps a bit too..rugged…to be sporting feathers. Nice, though, but gives me more of a shifter vibe than angel.

Ooooo, digging Dark Kiss. It’s like yummy dark chocolate, melting in my mouth!
It does have a funky vibe that I like…sort of grunge retro. Looking forward to this one, too.
Is Dark Kiss going to be YA? It has that more ‘arty’ look.
I believe so, but I am trying to find out for sure before I list it under the YA section. I can’t remember where I saw it to double check, of course, so still hunting for info.
On Michelle Rowen’s blog, she noted it as her new YA series, that’s how I knew. It’s kind of a bummer because she’s not continuing her other two series…
