Up until this point, I had only been able to find a bare-bones, annoying little blurb about J.R. Ward‘s Lover Reborn. Pretty much all it said was that it was about Tohr. Meh. Today, as I was finally doing some updating in the New Release section, I came across a much better description…

mmmmmm I’m still not with the whoo hoo let move on. He just lost her, has it even been a year? I’ve only been married 32 years and I don’t think I could ever remarry if I lost my hubby. mmmmmm I hope I love this book, but I’m feeling pain in my chest at the thought of “moving on”. I just wish he would have mended other relationships first.
Hm, I think that it is “fast”, but I would have more of a problem if it were a totally new character and not someone he has a previous history with. I would like to see Tohr get more back to his old self before he mates again, though, so I hope that is addressed in Reborn.

No problem…the original little blurb didn’t do anything for me, either, so I was thrilled to get my hands on this one.
I have a feeling this is going to be an emotional rollercoaster for everyone. Tohr still has to heal and regain his former self. But some times loves is just the thing to inspire us forward. The flip side is I loved him and Welsie together and she will have to really sell to make me want him with someone else.
I think there are probably going to be times I want to slap Tohr around, too, since it supposedly takes place over the course of a year and he will probably be mentally all over the place. I must say, I am looking forward to getting more info about Lassiter, too.
WOO HOO!! I cannot wait!
Right now, I am drooling for Lothaire in January, then Angels’ Flight in February, and Lover Reborn and Fair Game in March. Nice.
