Most of these I snatched from All Things Urban Fantasy, so many thanks. I’ve been searching for this one for a while now, so I was glad to get my hands on the cover for Blackhearted Betrayal by Kasey MacKenzie. It is part of the Shades of Fury series, and is due out on June 26th.
Next up is the, uh, unfortunate cover for Nancy Holzner‘s Darklands. The…mop-thing…on her head distracts from an otherwise decent cover. But, my God, the wig throws me. Look for this one on July 31st.
Number three from my ATUF raid is for the Jes Battis OSI book Bleeding Out. This one is due out on May 29th.
And finally, Larissa Ione upped the UK cover for her next Lords of Deliverance book, Rogue Rider. This one is supposed to be released sometime around December, and will feature Reseph, that bad, bad boy. I do like the UK covers for this series a lot…I have envy.

Yup ! The first i’ve seen on Darkland cover, is… THE HAIR ! And then, i read your commentary and it’s exactly what i think. I think it’s sad, because i like the covers of the other books in tha serie.
I like the cover of BlackHearted Betrayal. I like the glowing eyes, the tattoo and the colors. Do you know who is the artist ?
I liked all of them in the series, too. The cover artist is named Judy York, and she has done a very good job on these ones, for sure. She also did the covers for the Tairen Soul series, too.
I haven’t read Kasey MacKenzie’s books, but I do love the covers, very striking.
Larissa Ione…I am like you, I have UK cover envy…sometimes they are so much better than what we get…
I do tend to like the UK covers – except for Christine Feehan’s, oddly.
