In doing my recent bout of updating, I came across a few new covers (or at least new to me), and for some reason most of these puppies were young adult. This first one is from Jennifer Estep and her Mythos Academy series. Crimson Frost is due out this December.
This one has been making the rounds for a while, so not sure why I didn’t nab it sooner. Asunder is the second book from Jodi Meadows‘ Incarnate series, due out on January 29th.
Megan Crewe‘s second book from her Fallen World trilogy will be called The Lives We Lost. It will be released in hardcover on February 12th.
Author Amanda Hocking starts up a new series soon called Watersong. The second book, due out on November 27th, will be called Lullaby.
Still from the young adult world, the cover for the second book in Nina Berry‘s Otherkin series has been released. Othermoon is due out next February.
I have to admit, I loved the cover from the first book in the Jessica Shirvington series The Violet Eden Chronicles, Embrace. I had high hopes for the second book, Entice, due out on September 18th, but it looks like they have gone in a new direction, which is a shame. I usually prefer when they keep a theme going for a series, but I guess I don’t get a vote.
These next two step away from the YA titles. Wild About You, from Kerrelyn Sparks, will be released on November 27th.
And this final one is from author Susan Sizemore. Personal Demon is due out on September 25th.

As usual a lot of the Young Adult covers are fantastic, I especially like Lullaby, Othermoon, and Entice. I also think Personal Demon is pretty nice. That being said, I really enjoy Kerrelyn Sparks novels and I usually really like her cover art but Wild About You just seems really off to me. Why is the heck is Howard Barr in black and white while the love interest is in color. I am not sure if I am the only one who thinks it looks weird but for some reason I find it annoying to look at – lol. Great finds Kaleigha!!
Thanks, Alix. I have the young adult cover love, too…I think that is mostly what starting me reading young adult at all was the great covers. I am so a sucker for them. The Sparks one is way awkward, for some reason. It is just screaming bad photoshop job.
