Of course, story of my life, I have been behind on getting the author pages updated (although all of the new release dates are correct as of yesterday). Right now I have the first few changed over to the “new” design, and I hope to have the rest done in the next couple days. Here’s what new…
- The blurb and a small version of the cover for the December Christine Feehan release, Leopard’s Prey, was upped on the author’s site.
From a tough stint in the armed forces to stalking the unknown as a bayou cop, leopard-shifter Remy Boudreux has been served well by his uncanny gifts. And right now, New Orleans could use a homicide detective like Remy.
A serial killer is loose, snatching victims from the French Quarter with pitiless rage and unnatural efficiency. But something else is drawing Remy into the twilight — a beautiful jazz singer bathed night after night in a flood of blood-red neon.
Sultry, mysterious, and as seductive as her songs, she’s luring Remy deeper into the shadows than he ever imagined. And as their passions swell, his keen instinct for survival will be challenged like never before. By a killer — and by a woman.
- The second Darklight book from Darynda Jones has had a small title adjustment to Death, Doom and Detention. Look for it on March 5th.
The normal part of Lorelei MacAlister’s life didn’t just slip away quietly the day Jared Kovach came to town. Nope. The normal part of her life shattered. It exploded. It burst into a gazillion shards of fleeting light.
It went out with a bang. Goodbye normal. Hello dark and eerie.
While her best friend, Brooklyn, is focusing all of her energy on helping Lorelei hone her abilities, Lorelei is dealing with the reality that Satan’s second in command has taken up residence inside her body. Oh, and the fact that she has a crush on the Angel of Death. But what a beautiful death it is. If those weren’t bad enough, something sinister has come to town and it wants nothing more than to hear Lorelei’s dying breath as it strangles it out of her. Thank goodness the gang has a supernatural champion. But what happens when the only being who can save them switches sides midstream? How can a group of misfits capture one of the most powerful beings ever created? And will they find out how to bring Jared back to them before it’s too late?
- Looks like there will be a second book from the upcoming Jacquelyn Frank World of the Nightwalkers series, The Bodywalkers. Book two is called Forever, and should be out towards the end of this year.
- Book number 8 from Jennifer Estep‘s popular Elemental Assassin series will be called Deadly Sting. It is due out next April.
- The “official” blurb from the much anticipated upcoming Karen Marie Moning Dani O’Malley book, called Iced, is sounding good…
The year is 1 AWC—After the Wall Crash. The Fae are free and hunting us. It’s a war zone out there, and no two days are alike. I’m Dani O’Malley, the chaos-filled streets of Dublin are my home, and there’s no place I’d rather be.
Dani “Mega” O’Malley plays by her own set of rules—and in a world overrun by Dark Fae, her biggest rule is: Do what it takes to survive. Possessing rare talents and the all-powerful Sword of Light, Dani is more than equipped for the task. In fact, she’s one of the rare humans who can defend themselves against the Unseelie. But now, amid the pandemonium, her greatest gifts have turned into serious liabilities.Dani’s ex–best friend, MacKayla Lane, wants her dead, the terrifying Unseelie princes have put a price on her head, and Inspector Jayne, the head of the police force, is after her sword and will stop at nothing to get it. What’s more, people are being mysteriously frozen to death all over the city, encased on the spot in sub-zero, icy tableaux.
When Dublin’s most seductive nightclub gets blanketed in hoarfrost, Dani finds herself at the mercy of Ryodan, the club’s ruthless, immortal owner. He needs her quick wit and exceptional skill to figure out what’s freezing Fae and humans dead in their tracks—and Ryodan will do anything to ensure her compliance.
Dodging bullets, fangs, and fists, Dani must strike treacherous bargains and make desperate alliances to save her beloved Dublin—before everything and everyone in it gets iced.
- and the third Bloodlines book from Richelle Mead has a title. The Indigo Spell will be out next February.

Hello K! I’m trying to figure out if Iced is a YA book or not.
Hey Lizzie…I am just doing the author pages over, and I came across the same problem. I can’t really figure out which it is, especially since KMM said something like it “uneasily straddles the line between adult and YA”. I think I am going to consider it adult, until I can find something to classify it either way.
I can’t tell on some books, I read Angelfall by Susan Ee (great book), the heroine was 17. Some listed it as YA, but I didn’t think so. Must be a “straddler” like this one.
Thanks for the info!
No problem…give a shout back if you hear any more info, and I will update.
