Both this week and last week are pretty slow in terms of new releases, so looks like no New Series Alert post (or pick of the week, for that matter). Huh. How rude.
Anyways, later today I will have the Psy/Changeling Character Guide updated to include Tangle of Need (love that series, and can’t wait for Kaleb. And Alexei. And Cooper and Grace). I still have Samurai Game, the last Mythos Academy book, and not one but two Charley Davidson books to get the character guides caught up, but I am thinking of doing a quick one of Gena Showalter’s Angels of the Dark series first (it is so much easier to start a guide when the series is new – not so overwhelming). Anyone interested in having a guide for Wicked Nights?
Today is also going to be spent adding a bunch of books to the new release pages, since there has been a ton of new stuff listed on Amazon the last few days. Never know, you might find something there to catch your eye.
For today’s laughs, I saw this posted over at Ilona Andrews‘ blog, and decided I had to post it. I just might have to get off my butt and go see Magic Mike…alone. No one to point out that I have drool on me that way.

I kinda made one if you want to take a look at use it and add to it?
Hey Jessica…sure. I am about 100 pages into the re-read (and 6 or so pages of notes), but I could always combine the two. That would be great.
do you have an email address I can send it to?
Sure… wickedscribes@gmail.com
Thanks!
sent it
Thanks! I will take a peek after I get my notes done, so I don’t get lazy and miss anything.
Hi K,
I’m trying to catch up on things. I think a character guide for Wicked Nights (Angels of the Dark) sounds great. This series has great potential with its intriguing characters. I’m not sure if you’ve already decided or not. If you have, my apologies since I haven’t read the comments on this thread.
Oooh, I wanted to recommend a really good book I just finished reading. It released last June 12th and it was sitting in my ereader for a couple of weeks and I finally got to reading it. It’s called Shadow’s Edge by J.T. Geissinger. The blurb intrigued my from the moment I read it. Didn’t read reviews and it was a seize-the-moment purchase. Great debut book to a promising series. I am quite sure you will like it, if you have not read it already. I think it’s worth adding to the mountain.
Have a great weekend.
xoxoxoxox,
Lea
Hey Lea.
God, the catch up that never, ever gets caught completely up. I decided to go ahead with the Angels of the Dark guide, since with just the one book I can feel like I actually accomplished something (I have been working on the Breeds one for literally something like two years). I have started to see listings for J.T. Geissinger books, but I didn’t really pay much attention. I don’t think I even put them on the site. Thanks for the rec – Doug had one, too, that I am going to check out. Much appreciated.
Cool! Another guide to refer to…YES!
I finally got around to watching that Channing Tatum vid you posted above. That girl on there looks like she could pass for my little sister. LOL!!
xoxoxoxo
I thought it was so cute…at least Channing can make fun of himself, which is a nice change from the “serious” actors…and your sister is cute, then.
