I am pretty sure a few of these have been around for a while, but hey, they are new to me. So here goes. This first one was just released today – The Special Edition of Magic Bites from Ilona Andrews, which is due out on December 31st.
Hannah Jayne‘s Underworld Detection Agency Chronicles continues next February with the release of the fourth book, Under the Gun.
Anne Bishop starts up a new series, The Others, with the release of Written in Red next March 5th. This one gives me a young adult vibe, even though it is definitely on the adult side of things.
Coming next April is the third book from Kylie Griffin‘s Light Blade series, this one called Allegiance Sworn.
Hm, I find this next one…awkward. Not sure why, but it just seems odd to me. Cleopatra Ascending is from the Shadow’s Edge series from Maureen Lipinski, due out on January 8th.
This next one is from Heather Burch and her Halflings series. The third and final book, Avenger, is due out on March 19th.
And this final one is The Impossibility of Tomorrow, the second book from Avery William‘s Incarnation series. Look for it on March 1st.

Ok I love the gorgeous cover of Magic bite, I think it’s my fav between all of them.
Mine, too. Pretty colors and well done photoshopping, so that makes me happy.
Oooo I like the Magic Bites one. Kudos for the improvement
Too bad this one is in trade paperback – I will probably end up buying the sucker again when it hits mass market.
OK, now I know that being a male in this genre must give me a much different vibe since I looked at the Magic Bites cover and immediately said “No way is that skinny thing Kate Daniels”. Sorry but I thought it was the worst one of the bunch since there is a known character it should be trying to portray and it failed miserably. Really, can you read those books and say that little girl can be Kate Daniels in your most delusional state??
I get that same vibe from pretty much all cover chicks, to be honest, so I don’t even register that anymore. I am still trying to figure out how some of the size 0 gals can supposedly beat up some huge fella on TV. Although, I do think that the skinny chick on the second cover could cut my face off and not chip a nail, however.
Is this Julie’s book because the model favors her character and doesn’t resemble Kate at all?
Nope, this one is actually a re-published version of the first Kate Daniels book, Magic Bites. There are some exclusive extras, from what I understand.
Funny thing that the cover that catch my eyes, is actually the akward one ! But i’m a sucker for everything ancient Egypt. The akwardness is because of the ”ankh” that is on the first layer, but not on the face… doesn’t know how it fit on the picture.
I like the Kate Daniels cover, it may be the best yet but i agree the model is not Kate. I prefer the usual model.
Now, Jenna Black revealed the cover for the third Nicki Glass. Rogue Descendant: http://yfrog.com/ocfrnfaj
And here another one. Celestial Blues #2: The Lost by Vicki Pettersson https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1792728&l=2fb5015ed0&id=261755640504137
Thanks, Nefertari! I went looking for the finished versions of both of those a couple of days ago, and had no luck.
I think the cover for the special edition of Magic Bites is gorgeous! I don’t think the girl on the cover resembles Kate, but I still love it! I wish it was going to be in hardcover instead of paperback.
I can’t wait to read Anne Bishop’s Written in Red next year! I enjoyed her Black Jewels series, so it would be awesome to see her take on Urban Fantasy
I would kill to get Kate Daniels in hardcover, too. I am all caught up on the Mercy Thompson books in hardcover, and the Alpha and Omega will be re-released soon. Written in Red will be my first Anne Bishop story, but I am looking forward to it, too.
