Well, the yearly and monthly new release pages have been updated for 2012 and 2013, and all of the release dates are correct as of yesterday. As always, there is a ton of new ones to add over the next few days, but the ones that are there already are current. There were a few that shifted a few weeks ahead or back, and a couple that had significant pushbacks (Christine Feehan‘s Leopard’s Prey has moved from December to next May). Take a peek if there was something you were really waiting for.
A reader name Kitt (hey, Kitt) sent me an email a couple of day ago and offered a suggestion for the blog. As she mentioned, there is no section here that lists series that have already been completed. We all love to get the next book of a favorite series, but as she pointed out sometimes it is nice to read a series from beginning to end without that long, long (and in most cases getting longer) wait for the next book. I have been toying with a way to get it going, and I figure I could add a page to the end of the Author and Series Reading List section. I will add new ones as I come across them.
Would anyone else find this helpful? Kitt added a list of series that are already complete, but if anyone can think of any feel free to let me know.

“lists series that have already been completed” – that is an excellent idea, I will try to add some to your list in a few days or less.
Kitt got me started with a good sized list, so I will fire that up maybe tomorrow. Any suggestions welcome, though.
Yes, it would be lovely to know which series are complete.
It really could be helpful – save the endless waiting for the book that isn’t coming.
Hey! *waves* I did update the list I sent you. I can post it here or email? There isn’t much for Young Adult, though, since I don’t read that genre.
Hey again. That is great, and either way works. If you want to send it through the contact me page, I can keep both lists together that way. I figure the next time I go through the series reading list pages for an update, I will copy and paste the completed series info over, too. I check author by author, so it shouldn’t be hard to track some more down.
Thanks again.
This is a great idea! Should we list them here or would you prefer a separate email?
Hey Amber. Hm, maybe through the contact me page so I can keep everything all together.
I have been meaning to ask you, did you ever read Nina Berry’s Otherworld?
Ok, I’ll send you the info through there.
I haven’t read it yet, but soon!! I really had planned on reading it sooner, but you know how that goes…*sigh*
I couldn’t really put my finger on why, but it didn’t do much for me. I didn’t hate it, but I won’t be bothering with the next one, though.
Oh damn…really? That’s a bummer
I’ll let you know my thoughts on it after I finish it.
Yeah, give a shout back. I like being nosy.
