New Series Alert…

There is one new series hitting the shelves this week, and from what I have seen so far early reviews have been very positive.  Full Blooded is the first book of the Jessica McClain series by Amanda Carlson, but there is a prequel novella that came out a few months ago called Blooded.

Synopsis…

Born the only female in an all male race, Jessica McClain isn’t just different—she’s feared.

After living under the radar for the last twenty-six years, Jessica is thrust unexpectedly into her first change, a full ten years late. She wakes up and finds she’s in the middle of a storm. Now that she’s become the only female full-blooded werewolf in town, the supernatural world is already clamoring to take a bite out of her and her new Pack must rise up and protect her.

The Jessica McClain reading list is HERE.

Has anyone checked this out yet?  I am thinking that I will probably grab Blooded tonight and see how things go.

  1. I just ordered Full Blooded last week from The Book Depository. All the reviews I’ve read have been very positive and I love werewolf books. I still need to read the novella, but will definitely be doing that soon! :-)

  2. the cover girl seems to look familiar. i think I’ve seen her on other PNR covers. i will have to think on the covers and point them out.

    • Thanks! I almost missed this one – seems like I skipped right over it in my pre-ordering frenzy. I think I will hit some of the novellas I am behind on tonight while I am waiting for Archangel’s storm.

  3. I read the novella, liked it, and plan on picking up the books. I’m vacating next week and Full Blooded will be going with me.
