Looks like the earlier mock up cover for Jennifer L. Armentrout‘s Opal has now been replaced with the real thing. It is the third book in the Lux series, due out this December 11th.
This one has been all over the place since last night. The eighth book of Jennifer Estep‘s Elemental Assassin series, Deadly Sting, is due out on March 26th. What do you think of this new (as of the previous book) cover design? I myself find it a nice change from the normal half cut off face style, but it is a shame to cover the beautiful artwork of Tony Mauro.

Me encanta la portada de OPAL no he leido esos libros pero estan en mi lista de espera!!
Es una gran serie, espero que os guste cuando se llega a ella.
I’m not really liking this new Jennifer Estep cover. I’ve loved all the covers of this series up till this point, anyways. I hope they change it. I’m feeling it at all.
I thought the last one, with the white over-cover, was an error. I ended up using the e-book cover as the main cover. Looks like it is the new trend.
The picture actually looks closer to what I imagine Gin looks like so I guess I like it as compared to a LOT of them that don’t even bare any semblance to the character.
I love the total misrepresentation of characters on covers. It is good for a laugh, anyways.
I just finished the book and now the cover makes sense completely, that dress was not a random choice for the cover. hint, hint
I Want. That Dress. NOWWWWWWWWW!!!!! My boobs aren’t as big so it probably wouldn’t look that good on me anyway, but I am in lust.
It is a beauty – and you can always buy the equipment.
