So, I just realized that it was Monday. That means I had forgotten to do my New Series Alert post. Duh. So, a few hours late – but here goes the two new ones out this week. Jacquelyn Frank begins her Nightwalkers spin-off series, World of the Nightwalkers, with the release of Forbidden.
The unexpected happens in an instant. On her way to work, secretary Docia Waverley hurtles into a crashing crossroads, and she quickly begins to suspect that things will never be the same. Then, when a tall, blond, muscular stranger intervenes on her behalf, telling her it is his duty to protect her at all cost, what is just a feeling turns to proof positive. That is, as long as Docia’s savior doesn’t turn out to be a crazed kidnapper.
When Ram finds Docia, he has no doubt that she is his queen. But as this golden warrior sweeps in to protect her, he feels something more than body heat every time they touch. He is overwhelmed by a searing connection that goes deep into the twin souls inside him. A desire rises in him that is forbidden—this woman is his queen, the mate of his king, his leader, his best friend. And yet Docia is so vulnerable and attractive that she awakens a hunger in Ram that is undeniable, a carnal craving he cannot yield to . . . not without risking the very survival of the Bodywalkers.
The World of the Nightwalkers reading list can be found HERE.
Looks like they are going all out and even made up an official trailer for Forbidden.
I had vowed to be done the Fever series before the release of Karen Marie Moning‘s Iced, but…I only made it through the first book. I am really going to have to tell myself to not grab this one and read it first, because it caught my attention a ways back and I want it. Now.
The shockingly suspenseful first book in Moning’s new trilogy, Iced catapults us back to the frenetic world of the Fever series, picking up immediately where Shadowfeverended. At its center is Dani O’Malley, the powerful, tough-talking teen sidhe seer who has stolen readers’ hearts. As Dublin is overrun by dark forces, and the sidhe seer’s abbey reels from the influence of the dark Fae imprisoned there, Dani must find and capture the elusive new Fae creature that’s on a murderous rampage. Featuring beloved characters from the Fever series—including Christian MacKeltar, Ryodan, Mac and Barrons and others.
Dani O’Malley reading list is HERE.
Just in case you didn’t catch it, there is a trailer made up for Iced, too.

Haha I keep saying I’m going to read it… have to read it… and then I get distracted. My reading list haunts me!
Good lord…the TBR piles are evil. Mine is getting so out of control I don’t actually know where to start.

That is my exact problem… It’s to the point where when I start a new book I second guess myself about the series I started and can’t stop thinking about starting the other series haha… it’s terrible!
I am such a nerd that I had to develop a gameplan to tackle the TBR mountain. There are still some that I want to read but just can’t seem to get there. Yet.
