Bewitching can be a beast. . . .
Once, I put a curse on a beastly and arrogant high school boy. That one turned out all right. Others didn’t.
I go to a new school now—one where no one knows that I should have graduated long ago. I’m not still here because I’m stupid; I just don’t age.
You see, I’m immortal. And I pretty much know everything after hundreds of years—except for when to take my powers and butt out.
I want to help, but things just go awry in ways I could never predict. Like when I tried to free some children from a gingerbread house and ended up being hanged. After I came back from the dead (immortal, remember?), I tried to play matchmaker for a French prince and ended up banished from France forever. And that little mermaid I found in the Titanic lifeboat? I don’t even want to think about it.
Now a girl named Emma needs me. I probably shouldn’t get involved, but her gorgeous stepsister is conniving to the core. I think I have just the thing to fix that girl—and it isn’t an enchanted pumpkin. Although you never know what will happen when I start . . . bewitching.

Hi K! I didn’t know where else to leave this link, so hope this is okay. Laura Wright just recently listed a new e-novella on Goodreads coming out in April 2013. Here is the link:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15712164-eternal-beauty
Thanks…I didn’t catch that one. Much appreciated.
You’re welcome. Unfortunately it doesn’t show up when you do a search for the “Mark of the Vampire” series the way it’s listed, only if you search Laura Wright books. I’m going to write her on there to let her know. Maybe they can fix that
That is a pain when Goodreads has wonky lists, or incomplete info. Makes updating more tricky, the buggers. Thanks again.
Oh no! Amazon’s now showing Kenyon’s “Born of Fury” with a December 18th release date. What’s up with that?
Damn, there have been so many major pushbacks lately it is insane. That is the same month they are showing for the next dark hunter, book, too. It would be odd to have two major releases in the same month.
I’m seeing April 30th on Amazon for Born of Fury (is there another link for December 18th?), but Sherrilyn’s website & Goodreads now show November 1st as the release date. Of course, they have January 1, 1970 as the release date for PB version. Lol! This is the book I can’t ever get an answer to about the edition they have on Amazon, etc. It says “Large Print” edition. I can’t find a regular HC edition and I’ve tried 4 times on her FB page & once on her website contact page to find out about this
You’re right about the date on Amazon now. How bizarre. Last night it was showing December. There must be some strange things happening with that book. Sorry for the misinformation, Kaleigha.
No problem at all. The Amazon release dates and I have a long history of doing battle, and they usually win.
Wow, 1970? That is as good as the one I found last week for December 2031.
At least that one was in the future! Lol!
True…but imagine the wait for the next book…
