I found this one over on Amazon…and I did shudder a little bit. The last few Gena Showalter covers have been great, but this one for The Darkest Craving is a bit of a let down. I am looking forward to getting a hold of this one when it is released on July 30th, since to say that Kane was left in a perilous situation in the last Lords book is a bit of an understatement.
OMG!! Say it ain’t so!! LOL!! This IS a bit of a letdown…………. Wicked Nights, imho, was the hottest cover of 2012!! Can’t wait for this story though! Poor Kane going through hell………..literally!!!
Yeah, I loved the Wicked Nights cover, too. Beauty Awakening wasn’t great, either, but this one is even worse.
I don’t like the yellow color. And where’s his butterfly TATTOO? Its supposed on his body, not to be the background
I didn’t even notice the lack of tattoo-ige. I think I was blinded by the yellow.

I’m excited for the book but this cover is kind of…..blah. It looks bad on its own but it looks even worse when you compare it to other covers from her books.
Especially the last few…this one reminds me more of the Laura Wright covers that have come out recently. Not what I was expecting, anyways.
I’m very excited too! I absolutely adore this series! It is one of my top favorites. But yeah, the cover is on the horrible side and could have been so much better (like the rest of the series covers.)
It reminds me of my reaction to the Psy/Changeling covers “Yes! Uhh – eww. Eh. Yay!”
Yeah, not my favorite of the covers but this is one of my favorite series. Always look forward to the next book! That is weird that they didn’t put the butterfly tattoo on his body. Hmmm….

Lea says the butterfly tattoo is supposed to be on his right hip. I guess that’s why it’s not shown. Haha!
Love the series but really don’t like the covers.
I liked the latter ones, but I think this one is my least favorite of the whole series (along with another one that was browny orange, if I remember correctly).
