Well, it looks like there is a bit of a run going on for cover reveals the last couple of weeks. This time around, I have five newbies to show off, most of whom came once again from Goodreads. Caris Roane starts a new series, Men in Chains, with the release of Born in Chains on October 1st.
Fangs for Nothing, the second duology from Erin McCarthy and Kathy Love, will be released on July 2nd.
Yasmine Galenorn is great about showing her cover art early, and this one for Autumn Whispers is no exception. Look for it on September 24th.
Amazon doesn’t have a listing for this one yet, but Meljean Brook has upped the cover for her upcoming Iron Seas novella, Tethered.
And this final one is from Gena Showalter‘s White Rabbit Chronicles series. Through the Zombie Glass will be released later this year.
I am not feeling Born in Chains, to be honest. Or Fangs for Nothing, either. But I think that both Autumn Whispers and Tethered are great. I do find it a bit sad that the cover for Tethered, an e-novella, is better than a lot of covers you see for full print releases. I am very glad that they kept the theme going for the White Rabbit Chronicles books, and while I don’t like this one quite as much as the one for Alice in Zombieland, I am still really happy with it. Any one in particular you are loving?

I’m with you on the covers. Although the camera used for the Caris Roane books was very *ahem* well-focused….haha. I probably like the Yasmine Galenorm cover the best, although I am starting to see a pattern with all these UF books. If PNR has a bunch of half-naked men, then UF has the protagonist on the front with something watermarked in the background. I also don’t like the “Through the Zombie Glass” cover as well as “Alice in Zombieland,” but honestly, I liked Alice in Zombieland so much that I can’t wait to read the sequel – inferior cover or not.
I do love the whole set of series covers for Yasmine Galenorn’s books – consistantly good. And I am looking forward to the next White Rabbit book, too.

The guy on the cover of the Roane one looks like he’s pregnant. O_O I know from a friend on GR that they actually do have “mpreg” books where gay men gestate. The kinda shit that nightmares are made of, IMO.
Hmmm. Now that I think about it, I don’t really like any cover from this badge and only kinda sorta like “Fangs for Nothing.” If it wasn’t so grainy, I’d be swooning.
From this BATCH, not badge (I was playing Pogo a few mins ago so I guess I’ve got badges on the brain),
Good lord – not in a million years would I want to read, see, or know of the existence of a book featuring a pregnant man. Not ever. Who comes up with that?

I confess I’m like you I prefered the first cover of Alice, but well it’s nice as well. We’ll see how it is.
I think the first one was more pretty, this one more “theme-y”, I guess. Not bad at all, though.

I totally agree with you guys on the Alice Looking Glass cover. But for me, it’s the look on her face that is taking away from the photo.
