Character Guides
I am in the process of doing Character Guides for some of my favorite series. So far, I have finished Christine Feehan’s Ghostwalkers series, and her Sisters of the Heart series as well. I have also finished Kresley Cole’s Immortals After Dark series, and Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunter series. I have just finished up the Psy/Changeling series from Nalini Singh, and I am still working on the very long Breeds series from Lora Leigh. I snuck in a couple of “newbies”, too, in Thea Harrison’s Elder Races and Jennifer Estep’s YA Mythos Academy.
Links for the various guides can be found in the corresponding Author Pages or Character Guides listed above, or click on the links below…

Thank you for the character breakdown of the Ghost Walker series. I have just started collecting the Lora Leigh series so that will help. Have you done worked on any of Lynsay Sands books or Christina Dodds Chosen Ones series?
Thanks Kathy…
I am glad you find the guide useful, and the Ghostwalkers is one of my favorites series. I haven’t done the Lynsay Sands or the Christina Dodd books, but I am doing both the Psy/Changeling series and The Breeds at the moment. I think after that I will try and do either Christine Feehan’s Leopard series, or maybe the Night Huntress, depending on my mood. Thanks again.
I love love your website, its very helpful with keeping up with my series and finding new ones.
Thanks Ashley…I am always glad to hear when someone gets some use out of it.
thanks for the effort in creating the character guide and good luck on lora leigh’s breed series
…hope you’ll do shelly laurenston’s 4 series too (pride, dragon kin, gathering and magnus pack)
Thanks! The Breeds is a big sucker, I must admit. I have been lazy the last few weeks and really need to get going on them again.
Kaleigha: this is a wonderful site. You have the series and character guide for all my fav authors. I just finished Dmitri’s book and had a few questions and your site gave me all the answers I needed. And I’m really hoping you would create the guides for G A Aiken/Shelly Laurenston’s books and Alyssa Day’s Warriors of Poseidon series soon…
Thanks Pallavi! I am trying to finish Storm’s Heart now, and then I have Dmitri’s to add. I agree about the Shelly Laurenston and Alyssa Day books, too (especially the Dragon Kin books. Oi, trying to keep those names and relationships straight was a bugger). I am working on the Breeds series now, but I have been lazy lately and not working on them like I should. Time to get back to it, I think.
Hi Kaleigha,
I know you are so busy, but have you considered doing one for Kate Daniels? Because I just read Magic Bites and I had to keep feeling like I was missing background info. I came here to see if you had a character guide to help.
Let me know if you are planning to do one.
thanks a lot!
Hey there…I would love to do one for Kate Daniels, since I just finished the series myself only weeks ago (great books). I don’t know when I will get there, but it is definitely on the to do list.
Kaleigha, I myself finished this entire series very recently and I adore The Beast Lord and His Consort. I’d love to help you out with the character guide; if you’re ok with it… If you have some sort of standard format or process, lemme know and I’d be glad to pitch in.. Feel free to email me at palsoflife-at-yahoo.com.. Cheers!
Hey Pallavi – we share the Kate and Curran love. I think it would be great if you wanted to dive into doing a character guide. I don’t really have a “way” of doing them – I just re-read the books and write down all of the details about each character that either makes an appearance, or is mentioned in some form. Then I go through and edit down to the basic bits of who they are, what they look like, what they have done, who they are connected to, that sort of thing. Let me know if you would like to jump onboard – if you would like to do the re-read and fact-finding, I can do the editing and formatting and uploading. I will warn you, though, they take a while (for me, at least). Thanks!
I love your Character Guides and want more
. They are great! There just aren’t enough online.
I am currently re-reading the Immortal After Dark series. I just noticed a discrepancy. Cadeon Woede is age 1500. This is found on page 47 in “Dark Desires After Dusk”. Cade is thinking to himself, and thinks his own age. Your notes say he is “over” age 900 (I am guessing this came from a previous volume in which he appears).
I am not sure if this is right venue to point this out. I couldn’t find a link for this sort of thing.
Thank you again. And thank you for updating from “Lothaire” so quickly. What a great job and service.
Thanks! That is a help. I will update. Good catch, too. Thanks again.
