Cover Lover – 4 New Titles

Ok, I am pretty sure no one who reads this blog is going to be surprised that I love covers.  I get a total fangirl moment when I see a beautiful cover.  Hell, that is pretty much what started me reading young adult – I had to have those pretties on my shelf (I only decided that I actually liked the books later).  But things have been mighty slow cover wise lately, some have been decent, some pretty good, but none that have really jumped out at me.  That is pretty much why there haven’t been as many Cover Lover posts lately…I saw what was out there and thought, “eh”.  So, in the spirit of trying to get back into things, here are four more covers…the first two of which came from Nefertari.  Thanks again.

I like the direction the covers for Vicki Pettersson‘s Celestial Blues series is going.  Retro and fun.  Book two is called The Lost, and it is due out on March 19th.

I had seen this second one around for a couple of weeks, but I didn’t think it was finished yet.  A blurb or quote or something on the top would have finished up Jenna Black‘s Rogue Descendant nicely.  Look for it on April 30th.

Aimee Agresti‘s second Gilded Wings novel has a cover.  Infatuate will be released on March 5th.

And the final one for this post is from Sara Humphreys.  Her Amoveo Legend series continues with the release of Undone on May 1st.

Cover Lover – 9 New Titles

A new batch of updating means a new batch of discovered covers.  There is sort of a mixed bag this go round, too.  This first one has been out for a while, but I just noticed it.  Ashes of Honor is the 6th book in Seanan McGuire‘s October Daye series, due out on September 4th.

This next one comes from author Wendy Delsol and her Stork series.  Flock is the third book of the trilogy, due out on September 11th.

Number three is also from the young adult world.  Fragile Darkness is the third book in the Midnight Dragonfly series from Ellie James, and it should be released on November 27th.

I thought this one was kinda fun.  Incarnation is the first book from Emma Cornwall, due out on September 18th.

I am looking very forward to this one.  Mate Claimed, from Jennifer Ashley, will be shifter Alpha Eric’s story.  It will be out on October 2nd.

I was surprised that there is nothing about this upcoming series over on Goodreads.  Susannah Sandlin starts her new Penton Legacy series this June 19th with the release of Redemption.

Meh, this isn’t the best quality, but it will do until I track down a better version.  The third book from Sara Humphreys‘ Amoveo Legend series will be called Untamed, and will be released on November 1st.

Lydia Dare continues her Westfield Wolves series with the release of Wolfishly Yours, due out on November 1st.

And finally, the third book from Donna Grant‘s new Dark Warriors series (a spin-off series from her Dark Warriors books), will be called Midnight’s Seduction.  This one is due out on October 30th.

Cover Lover – 6 New Titles

Still waiting for Once Burned and a (hopefully) new Lover Reborn, but I did manage to track down a couple of others, anyhow.  The cover and excerpt are out at Shelly Laurenston‘s site for her next Pride book, Bear Meets Girl.  It is the seventh book of the series, due out on March 27th.

Nicole Peeler‘s next Jane True book, Tempest’s Fury, will only be out next July, but the cover has started making the rounds now.

Hm, pretty.  Sara Humphreys‘ second print book from her Amoveo Legacy series will be called Untouched.  She has upped the cover for the April 1st release on her site.

I haven’t found much out about this one yet, other than Coveted is the first book for author Shawntelle Madison, due out on April 24th.

One…two…three models.  Ah.  Got it.  Goddess in the Middle is the third book from Stephanie Julian‘s Forgotten Goddesses series, due out in the middle of next year.

And finally, from the world of YA, comes the first book from author Brodi Ashton.  Everneath is the start of what sounds to be an interesting series, due out on January 24th.

New Series Alerts…

Another Monday, another couple of new series to highlight.  Or, rather, a couple new series, and one return to the beginning.  October 1st sees the start of the print run for Sara Humphreys‘ Amoveo Legacy with the release of Unleashed.

Synopsis…

A fresh, exciting take on shape-shifters, which is one of the hottest areas of paranormal romance, this debut was originally self-published in a limited edition and was a word-of-mouth sensation for booksellers in a major national book chain.

The acclaimed and highly original world-building of Sara Taney Humphreys introduces the Amoveo race– beautiful, strong shape-shifters who live secretly among humans and are threatened by outside forces as well as enemies from within. After endless searching, Malcolm has found his mate, Samantha, but she doesn’t know who she really is and won’t believe it when he tells her…

It will be followed by Untouched on April 1st.

New series number two is a nice change from the weres and vamps.  The Goblin King is the first book from Shona Husk‘s Goblin series, starting on October 1st.

Synopsis…

Cursed by a Druid millennia ago, Roan lives a bleak existence in the Shadowlands, desperately trying to retain his soul and not succumb to the goblin horde. When a beautiful human summons him to grant a wish, he sees a glimmer of hope. But will she ever agree to be his queen?

There will be at least two more books – Kiss of the Goblin Prince, and For the Love of a Goblin Warrior.

Been waiting to get my hands on this one for a while.  A Touch of Crimson is the new one from Sylvia Day, featuring a whole crew of powerful, deadly Renegade Angels.

Synopsis…

Adrian Mitchell is an angel of immense power and insatiable desire. Leading an elite Special Ops unit of the Seraphim, his task is to punish the Fallen—angels who have become vampires—and command a restless pack of indentured lycans.

But Adrian has suffered his own punishment for becoming involved with mortals—losing the woman he loves again and again. Now, after nearly two hundred years, he has found her—Shadoe, her soul once more inhabiting a new body with no memory of him. Only this time he won’t let her go.

With no memory of her past as Shadoe, Lindsay Gibson only knows she can’t help being fiercely attracted to the smoldering, seductive male who crosses her path. Swept into a dangerous world of tumultuous passion and preternatural conflict, Lindsay is soon caught in the middle between her angel lover, her vampire father, and a full-blown lycan revolt. There’s more at stake than her love and her life—this time she could lose her very soul…

Look for the follow-up, A Hunger So Wild, early next year.

And finally, J.R. Ward‘s early Black Dagger Brotherhood books are in the process of being re-released in hardcover Collector’s Edition format, starting with the book that started it all, Dark Lover.  I was so hoping for this to happen, so this makes me a happy, happy girl.

Synopsis…

In the shadows of the night in Caldwell, New York, there’s a deadly turf war going on between vampires and their slayers. There exists a secret band of brothers like no other-six vampire warriors, defenders of their race. Yet none of them relishes killing their enemies-the lessers-more than Wrath, the leader of the Black Dagger Brotherhood.

The only purebred vampire left on earth, Wrath has a score to settle with the slayers who murdered his parents centuries ago. But, when one of his most trusted fighters is killed, leaving his half-breed daughter unaware of his existence or her fate, Wrath must usher her into the world of the undead-a world of sensuality beyond her wildest dreams.
