Pick of the Week

Karin Tabke‘s Bloodright, the second book of her Blood Moon trilogy, gets my vote for pick of the week.  It is the first time I have ever read a series where there is one hero in the first book…and a different one in the second.  Can’t wait to see where this one goes.

After years of waiting, Lycan Alpha Lucien Mondragon is poised to take revenge on his brother, Rafael, by killing Rafael’s life mate, the Lycan/Slayer half-breed Falon—but he cannot complete the kill. Instead of ending her life, Lucien defiantly marks Falon as his own.

Though terrified by the savage Lucien, Falon finds herself drawn to him. Torn between the love she has for Rafael and the hunger she holds for Lucien, the will of Falon’s heart will lead her to her destined life mate–but it may also doom the brothers and the Lycan race to extinction…

Hey Lea – still doing Reborn, too, and really enjoying it. I am finding it hard to get the read time lately, though, so lasting longer than usual.

I haven’t read the lost series – is it paranormal, too?

Hi K…yes, Karin’s LOST series is paranormal as well. It’s like Para-Ops in a sense that there is a team (Last Option Special Team) and they have their troubles personally, politically and crime-wise as well with a paranormal twist that does not get too far out there (which I like very much). I really love this series and I have a feeling you would enjoy it too. It’s got that FBI feel to it, but with romance and sexiness.
