November BotM and Winner’s Choice Giveaway…

giveaway bannerWell, it looks like Thea Harrison‘s Kinked, the Elder Races story of Aryal and Quentin, is your book of the month for November. I was surprised by how wide of a margin it won by, and I was really happy to see Jennifer L. Armentrout‘s Sentinel and Richelle Mead‘s The Fiery Heart come in second and third, respectively.

Now on to the Giveaway. I am going to do things differently this time,. Since I am looking forward to all of the top three voted on books, I am going to let the winner choose for the giveaway. Drop a line in the comments section below for a chance to win a copy of either Kinked, Sentinel or The Fiery Heart (The Book Depository seems to be only offering The Fiery Heart in trade paperback format, so that would be what was won).  Contest open to all, winner to be chosen at random on Sunday night at Midnight (Atlantic time).

Good luck!

As a harpy, Sentinel Aryal is accustomed to dealing with hate, but Sentinel Quentin Caeravorn manages to inspire in her a burning ire unlike anything she’s ever known. Aryal believes the new Sentinel to be a criminal, and vows to take him out as soon as the opportunity arises. But the harpy’s incessant wrath has pushed Quentin to the limit, and forces him to make a deadly vow of his own.

To put an end to the conflict, Dragos, Lord of the Wyr, sends them on a reconnaissance mission to the Elven land of Numenlaur. Forced to work together, Aryal and Quentin’s mutual antagonism escalates. Each fight draws forth more passion—culminating in an explosively sexual confrontation. But when their quest reveals real danger, Aryal and Quentin must resolve their differences in ways beyond the physical, before the entire Wyr is threatened.

In The Indigo Spell, Sydney was torn between the Alchemist way of life and what her heart and gut were telling her to do. And in one breathtaking moment that Richelle Mead fans will never forget, she made a decision that shocked even her. . . .

But the struggle isn’t over for Sydney. As she navigates the aftermath of her life-changing decision, she still finds herself pulled in too many directions at once. Her sister Zoe has arrived, and while Sydney longs to grow closer to her, there’s still so much she must keep secret. Working with Marcus has changed the way she views the Alchemists, and Sydney must tread a careful path as she harnesses her profound magical ability to undermine the way of life she was raised to defend. Consumed by passion and vengeance, Sydney struggles to keep her secret life under wraps as the threat of exposure—and re-education—looms larger than ever.

Thanks so much for all you do with the blog! I know it’s a lot of hard work. I voted for Kinked. Can’t wait for it to come out.

Kinked, though I don’t know any of the author’s yet, but it sounds the most promising. I have become addicted to your blog, so it’s one of the first sites I check out as soon as I start up my pc 🙂

Kinked. I just reread Dragon Bound, so I am excited for it. Truthfully, I am more excited for the self-pub Thea Harrison is releasing on Nov. 25 — Dragos Takes a Holiday. There is a super fun excerpt on her blog (I think it was posted in Aug and it pretty easy to find).
