Divergent Trailer…

Well, the first official trailer for the adaptation of Divergent just came out. There was a teaser trailer a while back that wasn’t bad, but I was looking forward to a non-rushed version.  I think this one turned out pretty well…

What do you think? Will the rather upsetting ending of Allegiant (I haven’t read it yet, but was accidentally spoiled, dammit) make you feel a bit differently heading into this movie?

I have been putting off reading Allegiant, but I did very much enjoy the first two. Since I was spoiled on the last one, I am waiting to get some distance before I tackle it.

I watched the trailer and liked it. I haven’t read this series yet but I was accidentally spoiled too about the ending (wich I’m really greatful for) and let me tell you that I was pissed, this is NOT how you end a series (imho) *sigh*. I really don’t know what some authors are thinking. After that horrible ending, Veronica Roth entered in my list of Authors whose books I’ll nerver read lol

As for the movie I’ll watch it but I’m not going to the movie teather to see it (and I’m not buying the DVD either – thank God I have cable tv), after knowing how disappointing the ending of the final book is I lost all my hype about this series (and it had such promise d@mn it).

Meh, between Allegiant and what I was ALSO accidentally spoiled for in the last Marie Lu book Champion, I am wondering what is going on with the standard HEA ending. I like my HEA, dammit.

I have read them and loved book 1 & 2. So disappointed in book 3. Shocked she would do that to herself…not a great marketing strategy for future book sales. I agree that book 3 sort of killed the movie franchise before it even came out. I will still watch the movie, but debating on waiting for the DVD. A shame really!

I sort of thought that book three might have that effect…too bad it didn’t come out after the Divergent movie, so people would already be hooked.

I looked at the most recent trailer and was really surprised at how good it was. I’ve read the books and the trailer makes me think the movie might be better than the book. Very strange 🙂
