New Series Alerts…

Happy Monday…and happy new series day. H.P. Mallory starts her new Peyton Clark series this week with the release of Ghouls Rush In.

ghouls rush inSynopsis…

Do you believe in love after life?

Looking for a fresh start, Peyton Clark becomes the proud owner of a piece of New Orleans history: an Antebellum-era two-story house in the Garden District. It’s going to take time and a fat wallet to restore the fixer-upper to its former glory, but after her recent divorce, Peyton could use the distraction.

It’s not long before Peyton discovers she’s moved into the haunted home of a flirtatious paranormal prankster. She’s receiving kisses from unseen lips and caresses from a ghostly hand, and soon she begins to have vivid dreams, bringing her face-to-face with the incomparably handsome ghost of Drake Montague.

When Peyton grows closer to her general contractor, Ryan Kelly—who is as charming as he is alive—the chill in the air could only suggest Drake’s jealousy from beyond the grave. But even though she’s definitely attracted to and interested in Ryan, Peyton also can’t get Drake out of her dreams, or her heart, as she begins to uncover the frightening truth behind his death a century ago…

Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl start their spin-off of the Beautiful Creatures series this week with Dangerous Creatures. This time around, the story centers on Link and Ridley.

dangerous creaturesSynopsis…

Ridley Duchannes will be the first to tell you that she’s a bad girl. She’s Dark. She’s a Siren. You can never trust her, or even yourself when she’s around. Lucky for her, Wesley “Link” Lincoln can never seem to remember that; quarter Incubus or not, his heart is Mortal when it comes to Ridley.

When Link heads to New York City to start a music career, Ridley goes along for the ride-and she has her own reasons. As if leaving small-town Gatlin for the big city, trying to form a band, and surviving life with a partially reformed Siren isn’t hard enough already, Link soon learns he has a price on his head that no Caster or Mortal can ever pay.

This next one is also a spin-off series, this time from C.C. Hunter. Reborn is the first book of the Shadow Falls: After Dark series.

rebornSynopsis…

For Della Tsang, Shadow Falls isn’t just a camp: it’s home.  As a vampire who’s just starting to come into her powers, it’s the one place she can finally be herself. But when a new evil threatens everyone she cares about, Della is determined to do everything she can to save them . . . even if it means teaming up with the one boy who canbreak her heart.

In Reborn, return once again to C.C. Hunter’s Shadow Falls, a camp where supernatural teens learn to harness their powers and discover the magic of friendship and love.

Which of these will you be trying out? I ordered Dangerous Creatures when it was on sale at Chapters for $10, which was a great price. The Beautiful Creatures series was never a favorite of mine – I actually liked the premise, but I found the story dragged on. And on. But even so, I am looking forward to reading more about Link and Ridley.
