Behold…The Beauty of the ARC

Nalini Singh is one of my two absolutely favorite authors, so when I get a surprise package in the mail from her, I get more than a little excited. Once again, I wasn’t expecting it, but today I got the wonderful surprise of an ARC of Archangel’s Shadows. Behold the beauty…

imageThe saddest thing is that I have only read the first 50 pages, but I am already more involved in the story than I have been after 250 pages of Dark Skye.

I just can’t seem to get into Dark Skye. I think Thronos is great, don’t get me wrong, but the rest is just not grabbing by attention. At all. I definitely will finish it, though, since I need to do it to update the IAD character guide.

Yep, I do pick up the print version, too. And I get just as excited as I do about the ARC, strangely enough. There isn’t any cover art on the ARC, so that might have something to do with it, I guess.

Oh, it’s so beautiful! *teary eyes*

I’m not going to start frantically checking my mail hourly to see if I randomly get a copy like I did for Shield of Winter – seriously, no idea how that happened…didn’t even know that Ms. Singh had my address, but I am flattered to be stalked, lol!

I actually was going to do a little non-spoiler post about it, but not sure when that is considered appropriate. Hm, maybe later today.

I know I have not call to be jealous after I got a review copy of Rock Addiction, but I am just the tiniest bit. Enjoy! My only consolation is that I can still look forward to it, which is also fun!

Thanks…I am like that with Ilona Andrews’ Burn for Me. I would kill to get to read it, but it also gives me something to look forward to.
