Just Checking In…

question markOn the positive side, I am still alive. On the negative side, there isn’t much going on so things have been quiet. I am in the process of doing up a 2014 wrap up/ 2015 preview post, but I thought I would just check in and see what everyone is up to. What have you been reading? Anything to recommend heading into the end of the year? How goes the Christmas battle?

If you are not reading The Kings series by Heather Killough-Walden you are missing one of the better series being written in paranormal romance/urban fantasy. This is my review of the latest one (anotehr series you really need to read in order but they are all great)

The latest in The Kings, one of the best series in paranormal romance/urban fantasy being written today, this was another 5 Star effort.

I’ve been going through SUCH a reading slump lately but I picked up Christina Lauren’s Beautiful Bastard on sale this week and I’m already halfway through the second book (there was a novella in between). So I’m hoping to wrap up a few of the others I started and never finished (like Archangel’s Shadows :/).

For news – I saw KMM announced a released date for the next Fever book – October, 13, 2015. It’s called Feverborn. Do you think we can actually count on it being released then?

I hit a bit of a rough patch after Burn for Me (which I think I read three or four times, not sure which). I also had a string of meh young adult books in the mix, so the fall was a bit of a bummer in terms of reading.

God, two Fever books in one year? I hope, but I will believe it when I see it, I guess. Too many changes on Burned (both release date wise and story wise) left me doubtful. On the plus side, it will give me a date to get the guide done by. I hope.

I am just catching up on some books and doing some rereads since it is that time of the season where everything is slow. Anyways, Happy Holidays to everyone.
