Well the cover from Christine Feehan is certainly appealing but i have a couple of ARCs (well they were ARCs when I got them) of Heather Graham that I am starting to feel guilty about not reading before now.

I used to love Christine Feehan’s Dark Series but her last books didn’t do a thing for me and now reading the synopsys of her last book I can’t help but giggle. The cover looks so badass and I’m expecting to see some new evil rising only to see a vampire called “Popescu “- I’m from Romania and it’s true that this name is one of the most common that exists but it also has other overtones which includes – “sucker, fool, gullible”- here when you want to tell a story without telling the name of the person you say – for example- “I went there and this fool let’s call him Popescu did that…”
Let me tell you, here, no self respecting evil vampire will call himself “Popescu ” because everyone one will just laugh themselves silly. Really Feehan would have done a better deal if she would have used the Vlad Tepes thing although it’s been done so many times .
I told my friends about this book and they just laughed and said “long live wikipedia’-it;s quite awful when a writer doesn’t do her research, she totally ruined this book for me.
