There are a couple of things I have learned over the years I have been blogging, and one of them is pretty much absolute – whenever Ilona Andrews or Nalini Singh has a new release coming out, their book will be the book of the month. Period. And usually by a long, long way. Well, September once again proves that right, since Nalini’s Archangel’s Enigma had 129 votes…and the runner up had 19. But seriously, did anyone expect anything else?
As usual, to celebrate the release of another great book, let’s do a little giveaway. If you would like to win a paperback copy of Archangel’s Enigma, just drop a line in the comments section and let me know. Contest open to all, winner to be chosen at random through Random.org. Let’s close this baby down on Thursday night, Midnight (Atlantic time). Good luck!
Naasir is the most feral of the powerful group of vampires and angels known as the Seven, his loyalty pledged to the Archangel Raphael. When rumors surface of a plot to murder the former Archangel of Persia, now lost in the Sleep of the Ancients, Naasir is dispatched to find him. For only he possesses the tracking skills required—those more common to predatory animals than to man.
Enlisted to accompany Naasir, Andromeda, a young angelic scholar with dangerous secrets, is fascinated by his nature—at once playful and brilliant, sensual and brutal. As they race to find the Sleeping archangel before it’s too late, Naasir will force her to question all she knows…and tempt her to walk into the magnificent, feral darkness of his world. But first they must survive an enemy vicious enough to shatter the greatest taboo of the angelic race and plunge the world into a screaming nightmare…
For those who devoured this one already, I will start up a spoiler thread next week so we can
obsess over discuss this beauty. Much is to be said.
