PhoenixFyre sent over word from Facebook that Jeaniene Frost has announced the title for the fourth and final Night Prince book featuring Vlad and Leila…
Into the Fire.
On the plus side, the cover model for the first three books, Paul Marron, will be back for the finale (no dreaded cover change to make me mental), and also a plus is that it means we are one step closer to an Ian book. Yes, I have a one track mind, but a gal wants what a gal wants. On the downside, though, is the release date. It is looking like we will have to wait until next summer to pick it up.
Kresley Cole has been strangely silent lately (along with a few other authors), but there have been a few little tidbits coming out about the Arcana Chronicles. She has confirmed that there will be at least five books (a seemingly open-ended young adult series is pretty rare), and that the next one will be out March 31st. Title to come. The silence makes me wonder if there is in fact some behind-the-scenes action going on with the tv or movie adaptation? One can hope, at least.
And Larissa Ione was another author that had radio silence for awhile. It looks like she has been working on a non-paranormal project with several other authors. Via her newsletter…
In other news, I’ve been working on a super-secret project that I can finally talk about! Are you a fan of soap operas? Do you love drama, romance, and larger-than-life characters? If so, you’ll love this new series. It’s called Rising Storm, and it’s a unique concept in that it’s written like a TV series – in book form.
Each episode in Season One is written by a different author, and each takes the reader on a journey toward an explosive finale that will leave an entire town reeling. Season One premieres on September 24th, and a new episode will release each week. My episode, Calm Before The Storm, is the fifth episode, and it will release on October 22nd. I can’t wait for you to read it!
