Cover Lover – 11 New Titles

This batch of covers is way skewed to the young adult side of things, but let’s start with the two lonesome adult titles. Terry Spear‘s next Silver Town Wolf book will be called Between a Wolf and a Hard Place, and it will be released on April 4th.

between-a-wolf

And the second adult release comes from Vivien Jackson. Wanted and Wired is the first book of the Tether series, and it will be released on April 4th.

wanted-and-wiredRogue scientist • technologically enhanced • deliciously attractive
Heron Farad should be dead. But technology has made him the man he is today. Now he heads a crew of uniquely skilled outsiders who fight to salvage what’s left of humanity: art, artifacts, books, ideas-sometimes even people. People like Mari Vallejo.

Gun for hire • Texan rebel • always hits her mark
Mari has been lusting after her mysterious handler for months. But when a by-the-book hit goes horribly sideways, she and Heron land on the universal most wanted list. Someone set them up. Desperate and on the run, they must trust each other to survive, while hiding devastating secrets. As their explosive chemistry heats up, it’s the perfect storm…

All of the rest of these are young adult, starting with Rosalyn EvesBlood Rose Rebellion. It is the first book of a trilogy, and it will be out on March 28th.

blood-roseSixteen-year-old Anna Arden is barred from society by a defect of blood. Though her family is part of the Luminate, powerful users of magic, she is Barren, unable to perform the simplest spells. Anna would do anything to belong. But her fate takes another course when, after inadvertently breaking her sister’s debutante spell—an important chance for a highborn young woman to show her prowess with magic—Anna finds herself exiled to her family’s once powerful but now crumbling native Hungary.

Her life might well be over.

In Hungary, Anna discovers that nothing is quite as it seems. Not the people around her, from her aloof cousin Noémi to the fierce and handsome Romani Gábor. Not the society she’s known all her life, for discontent with the Luminate is sweeping the land. And not her lack of magic. Isolated from the only world she cares about, Anna still can’t seem to stop herself from breaking spells.

As rebellion spreads across the region, Anna’s unique ability becomes the catalyst everyone is seeking. In the company of nobles, revolutionaries, and Romanies, Anna must choose: deny her unique power and cling to the life she’s always wanted, or embrace her ability and change that world forever.

Amy Tintera continues her Ruined series with the release of Avenged on May 2nd.

avenged

And Rachel Vincent has a new one in the works, too. Brave New Girl is due out on May 9th.

brave-new-girlWe have brown hair. Brown eyes. Fair skin.
We are healthy and strong and smart.
But only one of us has ever had a secret.

Dahlia 16 sees her face in every crowd. She’s nothing special—just one of five thousand girls created from a single genome to work for the greater good of the city. Meeting Trigger 17 changes everything. He thinks she’s interesting. Beautiful. Unique. Which means he must be flawed. When Dahlia can’t stop thinking about him—when she can’t resist looking for him, even though that means breaking the rules—she realizes she’s flawed, too. But if she’s flawed, then so are all her identicals. And any genome found to be flawed will be recalled.

Destroyed.

Getting caught with Trigger would seal not only Dahlia’s fate, but that of all five thousand girls who share her face. But what if Trigger is right? What if Dahlia is different?

Suddenly the girl who always follows the rules is breaking them, one by one by one. . . .

Crystal Blade is up next. It is the second book from Kathryn Purdie‘s Burning Glass series, and it is due out on August 15th.

crystal-bladeThe peace is unsustainable.

Sonya and Anton may have brought about a revolution, but can they protect their homeland—and their love—with so many forces threatening to tear them apart?

The empire has fallen, Valko faces trial, and Sonya is finally free from her fate as Sovereign Auraseer. But Sonya’s expanding abilities are just as unstable as the new government of Riaznin—and her relationship with Anton. Not only can she feel the emotions of others but, unlike other Auraseers, she’s learned to make others feel her emotions as well. And Sonya isn’t immune to dark temptations.

Now, as Sonya fights to contain her own darkness, she senses a new evil lurking in the shadows of the palace. Someone from Sonya’s past has returned. And that someone won’t be satisfied until Sonya pays for the mistakes she’s made.

For something a little different, look no further than Amy Plum‘s Dreamfall. It will be released on May 2nd.

dream-fallCata Cordova suffers from such debilitating insomnia that she agreed to take part in an experimental new procedure. She thought things couldn’t get any worse…but she was terribly wrong.

Soon after the experiment begins, there’s a malfunction with the lab equipment, and Cata and six other teen patients are plunged into a shared dreamworld with no memory of how they got there. Even worse, they come to the chilling realization that they are trapped in a place where their worst nightmares have come to life. Hunted by creatures from their darkest imaginations and tormented by secrets they’d rather keep buried, Cata and the others will be forced to band together to face their biggest fears. And if they can’t find a way to defeat their dreams, they will never wake up.

And next up from Victoria Schwab is Our Dark Duet, the sequel to This Savage Song. It will be out on June 13th.

our-dark-duetKate Harker is a girl who isn’t afraid of the dark. She’s a girl who hunts monsters. And she’s good at it. August Flynn is a monster who can never be human, no matter how much he once yearned for it. He’s a monster with a part to play. And he will play it, no matter the cost.

Nearly six months after Kate and August were first thrown together, the war between the monsters and the humans is terrifying reality. In Verity, August has become the leader he never wished to be, and in Prosperity, Kate has become the ruthless hunter she knew she could be. When a new monster emerges from the shadows—one who feeds on chaos and brings out its victim’s inner demons—it lures Kate home, where she finds more than she bargained for. She’ll face a monster she thought she killed, a boy she thought she knew, and a demon all her own.

This one is called The Crown’s Fate, and it is the second book of the Crown’s Game series by Evelyn Skye. Look for it on May 16th.

the-crowns-fate

Almost done. The Gauntlet, which is the third book of The Cage series from Megan Shepherd, will be released on May 23rd.

the-gauntletCora and her friends have escaped the Kindred station and landed at Armstrong—a supposed safe haven on a small moon—where they plan to regroup and figure out how to win the Gauntlet, the challenging competition to prove humanity’s intelligence and set them free. But Armstrong is no paradise; ruled by a power-hungry sheriff,  it’s a violent world where the teens are enslaved and put to work in mines. As Nok’s due date grows closer, and Mali and Leon journey across space to rescue Cassian, the former inhabitants of the cage are up against impossible odds.

With the whole universe at stake, Cora will do whatever it takes, including pushing her body and mind to the breaking point, to escape Armstrong and run the Gauntlet. But it isn’t just a deranged sheriff she has to overcome: the other intelligent species—the Axion, Kindred, Gatherers, and Mosca—all have their own reasons to stop her. Not knowing who to trust, Cora must rely on her own instincts to win the competition, which could change the world—though it might destroy her in the process.

And finally (yay…this list seemed never-ending) this last cover comes from Jessica Sorensen. The Allure of Madness is a pretty one, and it is due out on January 16th.

the-allure-of-madnessSome say I’m worse than death. But I’m also a normal girl. I just happen to be cursed with the ability to drive a mind to insanity simply with my touch.

I can’t control my curse, which is why I’ve spent most of my life in a cage. Nothing survives my touch either, at least as far as I know.

Most call me a monster. Sometimes I wonder if maybe they’re right.

So when Caspian, a cocky, demanding—and I’ll admit, extremely good looking—jinni shows up at my cage and demands I go with him so he can exchange my life for his sister’s, I agree, hoping I can do something good for once. I just wish Caspian didn’t despise me so much.

There are quite a few pretty ones in this batch, but I will be strong and control myself. Maybe. Are any of them on your wishlist?

Cover Lover – Part 2

This is a continuation of yesterday’s cover post, since there were a few too many to do all at once. This first one is the lone adult release, and it comes from Seanan McGuire. Once Broken Faith is the 10th book in the October Daye series, and it will be released on September 6th.

once broken faith

As I have bored everyone with before, I am not too into the whole young adult thing lately, but I have to admit that the covers still grab me. This first one is kinda funky, and it comes from author Lindsay Smith. Dreamstrider is a stand-alone title which will be released on October 6th.

dreamstriderA high-concept, fantastical espionage novel set in a world where dreams are the ultimate form of political intelligence.

Livia is a dreamstrider. She can inhabit a subject’s body while they are sleeping and, for a short time, move around in their skin. She uses her talent to work as a spy for the Barstadt Empire. But her partner, Brandt, has lately become distant, and when Marez comes to join their team from a neighborhing kingdom, he offers Livia the option of a life she had never dared to imagine. Livia knows of no other dreamstriders who have survived the pull of Nightmare. So only she understands the stakes when a plot against the Empire emerges that threatens to consume both the dreaming world and the waking one with misery and rage.

Samantha Shannon continues her The Bone Season series with the release of The Song Rising on March 7th. I don’t find this cover nearly as pretty as the first two books.

the song rising.jpgOn the eve of a new decade, after two hundred years of Scion rule, a revolution is beginning. Its unlikely cradle is the clairvoyant underworld in London, and even an old ally’s betrayal cannot stop it.

But an enemy from Paige Mahoney’s past is about to return – an enemy that could quench the flame of hope for good . . .

Now this one caught my eye right away. Frostblood, which is the first book of the Frostblood Saga by Elly Blake, will be released on January 17th.

frostbloodSeventeen-year-old Ruby is a fireblood who must hide her powers of heat and flame from the cruel frostblood ruling class that wants to destroy all that are left of her kind. So when her mother is killed for protecting her and rebel frostbloods demand her help to kill their rampaging king, she agrees. But Ruby’s powers are unpredictable, and she’s not sure she’s willing to let the rebels and an infuriating (yet irresistible) young man called Arcus use her as their weapon. All she wants is revenge, but before they can take action, Ruby is captured and forced to take part in the king’s tournaments that pit fireblood prisoners against frostblood champions. Now she has only one chance to destroy the maniacal ruler who has taken everything from her and from the icy young man she has come to love.

Now on to Spectacle, which is the second book of the Menagerie series from Rachel Vincent. It has a release date of March 28th.

spectacleWhen their coup of Metzger’s Menagerie is discovered, Delilah and her fellow cryptids find their newly won freedom brutally stripped away as they are sold into The Savage Spectacle, a private collection of “exotic wildlife.” Specializing in ruthless cryptid cage matches, safari-style creature hunts and living party favors, the Spectacle’s owner, Willem Vandekamp, caters to the forbidden fetishes of the wealthy and powerful. At the Spectacle, any wish can be granted—for the right price.

But Vandekamp’s closely guarded client list isn’t the only secret being kept at the Spectacle. Beneath the beauty and brutality of life in the collection lie much darker truths, and no one is more determined than Delilah to strip the masks from the human monsters and drag all dark things into the light.

This next one is called Caraval. It is the first book of an as-yet untitled series from Stephanie Garber, and it will be released on January 31st.

caravalScarlett has never left the tiny island where she and her beloved sister, Tella, live with their ruthless father. Now Scarlett’s father has arranged a marriage for her, and Scarlett thinks her dreams of seeing Caraval, the legendary, once-a-year performance where the audience participates in the show, are over.

Then, Scarlett’s long-dreamt of invitation to Caraval finally arrives. So, Tella enlists a mysterious sailor’s help to whisk Scarlett away to this year’s show. But as soon as the trio arrives, Tella is kidnapped by Caraval’s mastermind organizer, Legend.

Scarlett has been told that everything that happens during Caraval is only an elaborate performance. But she nonetheless soon becomes enmeshed in a game of love, heartbreak, and magic with her sister, with Legend, and with the other players in the game. And whether Caraval is real or not, she must find Tella before the five nights of the game are over, a dangerous domino effect of consequences is set off, and her sister disappears forever.

And the final one of this batch comes from Kristin Smith. Catalyst is the first book of The Deception Game series, and it will be out this November.

catalystToo pretty.
Too smart.
Too perfect.

In a crumbling, futuristic Las Vegas where the wealthy choose the characteristics of their children like ordering off a drive-thru menu, seventeen-year-old Sienna Preston doesn’t fit in. As a normal girl surrounded by genetically modified teenagers, all of her imperfections are on display. But after the death of her father, everything she’s ever known and loved changes in an instant.

With little skills to help provide for her family, Sienna clings to the two things that come easily—lying and stealing. But not all thief-for-hire assignments go as planned. When a covert exchange of a stolen computer chip is intercepted, she becomes entangled with a corrupt government official who uses her thieving past as leverage, her mother as collateral, and the genetically modified poster boy she’s falling for as bait.

In order to rescue her mother, there may only be one option—joining forces with the Fringe, an extremist group, and their young leader who’s too hot to be bad. Problem is, these revolutionaries aren’t what they seem, and the secrets they’re hiding could be more dangerous than Sienna is prepared for. In the end, she must be willing to risk everything to save the one thing that matters most.

So that wraps up a couple of days of cover lover posts. Now time to get back to updating and adding new releases, which have been coming fast and furious.

Cover Lover – 5 New Titles

Ok everybody, time to ramble for a couple of minutes. Over the next couple of days, I will be getting caught up on adding a few new release dates to the pages, along with hopefully adding an author page for Anne Bishop and maybe changing a couple of cosmetic issues that have been bugging me for a while. I have gotten the White Rabbit Chronicles and Charley Davidson character guides up to date, and hopefully I can tackle the Cainsville guide over the next couple of days.

On to the cover side of things. Let’s start with Lady Midnight, the first book in the upcoming The Dark Artifices series from Cassandra Clare. This one will be out on March 8th.

lady midnightEmma Carstairs is a Shadowhunter, one in a long line of Shadowhunters tasked with protecting the world from demons. With her parabatai Julian Blackthorn, she patrols the streets of an secret Los Angeles where vampires party on the Sunset Strip, and faeries teeter on the edge of open war with Shadowhunters. When the bodies of humans and faeries start turning up murdered in the same way Emma’s parents were murdered years ago, an uneasy alliance is formed. This is Emma’s chance for revenge — and Julian’s chance to get back his half-faerie brother, Mark, who was kidnapped five years ago. All Emma, Mark and Julian have to do is solve the murders within two weeks . . . before the murderer targets them.

Their search takes Emma from sea caves full of sorcery to a dark lottery where death is dispensed. As she uncovers the past, she begins to peel away the secrets of the present: What has Julian been hiding from her all these years? Why does Shadowhunter law forbid parabatai to fall in love? Who really killed her parents — and can she bear to know the truth?

Next up is the cover for the third and final book in the 5th Wave series from Rick Yancey, The Last Star. It will be released on May 17th.

the last starWe’re here, then we’re gone, and that was true before they came. That’s always been true. The Others didn’t invent death; they just perfected it. Gave death a face to put back in our face, because they knew that was the only way to crush us. It won’t end on any continent or ocean, no mountain or plain, jungle or desert. It will end where it began, where it had been from the beginning, on the battlefield of the last beating human heart.

Rachel Vincent‘s second The Stars Never Rise book, The Flame Never Dies, will be released on June 1st.

the flame never diesSuzanne Young returns to her The Program series with The Epidemic, which is due out on April 19th.

the epidemicCan one girl help others find closure by slipping into the identities of their loved ones? Find out in this riveting sequel to The Remedy and companion to the New York Times bestselling The Treatment and The Program.

In a world before The Program…

Quinlan McKee has spent her life acting as other people. She was a closer—a person hired to play the role of the recently deceased in order to give their families closure. Through this process, Quinn learned to read people and situations, even losing a bit of herself to do so. But she couldn’t have guessed how her last case would bring down her entire world.

The only person Quinn trusts is Deacon, her best friend and the love of her life. Except Deacon’s been keeping secrets of his one, so Quinn must set out alone to find Arthur Pritchard, the doctor who’s been trying to control her life. The journey brings Quinn to Arthur’s daughter, Virginia, who tells Quinn the truth about Pritchard’s motives. The former closer will start to see that she is the first step in fighting an epidemic.

But Quinlan doesn’t want to be a cure. And with all the lies surrounding her, she realizes she has no one left to rely on but herself—even if she doesn’t know who that is anymore.

And in a sea of young adult covers, let’s wrap things up with an adult cover. Kate Baxter‘s The Dark Vampire, which is part of her new Last True Vampires series, is due out on May 3rd.

the dark vampireJenner is a newly turned vampire who stalks the night like a wild beast of prey, hunting and feeding his appetites with a string of willing women…and always wanting more. Nothing can satisfy the aching hunger that burns inside him—until he crosses paths with a beautiful, innocent vampire who sets his soul on fire.

Bria has never been able to escape the confines of her uncle’s home. But when the smolderingly sexy Jenner saves her—and promises to be her bodyguard—Bria is brought to a dark world of dangerous, insatiable desire. But once they feed upon each other, they expose themselves to an evil that they never saw coming…and now there’s no turning back. Will they divide and conquer—or stay together and lose it all to lust?

So, I think the Lady Midnight cover is a beauty, and it is close enough in look to The Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices covers that I can deal. Which one is your favorite from this little batch?

New Series Alerts…

After a pretty dry couple of weeks, there are a few new series starting up. Let’s start with the new one from Rachel Vincent. Menagerie is the first book of the Menagerie series, which I for some reason had thought was young adult, but which is actually an adult release.

menagerieSynopsis…

Like the rest of the world, Delilah Marlow knows all about living myths. Preternatural creatures. Monsters. Whatever you want to call them, she knows that they are sometimes beautiful, often lethal, and that they are not allowed to roam free in the U.S. Since long before she was born, living myths have only been allowed to exist in controlled environments, like official preserves, government labs…and in traveling carnivals, where, for a very steep fee, private citizens can get an up-close look at the dangerous and bizarre, like watching animals through fences at the zoo.

What Delilah does not know about living myths is that she is one of them.

When a visit to a traveling carnival exposes Delilah as a “monster,” she finds herself sold into the menagerie as an exhibit, stripped of all civil liberties, staring out through the bars of her cage at a world that now sees her as less than human. Locked up, denied even the most basic of rights and privileges, Delilah must call on her own inner strength and the bonds forged with her fellow captives to reclaim her future—and possibly spark a change in perceptions the world over.

Jim Butcher‘s new one is called The Aeronaut’s Windlass, and it is the first book of The Cinder Spires series.

the aeronaut's windlassSynopsis…

Since time immemorial, the Spires have sheltered humanity, towering for miles over the mist-shrouded surface of the world. Within their halls, aristocratic houses have ruled for generations, developing scientific marvels, fostering trade alliances, and building fleets of airships to keep the peace.

Captain Grimm commands the merchant ship, Predator. Fiercely loyal to Spire Albion, he has taken their side in the cold war with Spire Aurora, disrupting the enemy’s shipping lines by attacking their cargo vessels. But when the Predator is severely damaged in combat, leaving captain and crew grounded, Grimm is offered a proposition from the Spirearch of Albion—to join a team of agents on a vital mission in exchange for fully restoring Predator to its fighting glory.

And even as Grimm undertakes this dangerous task, he will learn that the conflict between the Spires is merely a premonition of things to come. Humanity’s ancient enemy, silent for more than ten thousand years, has begun to stir once more. And death will follow in its wake…

New Series Alerts…

There are a couple of new series to look forward to this week, and both are young adult. The first one is from author Kristin Cast. Amber Smoke is the first book of The Escaped.

AMBER SMOKESynopsis…

There is a world that runs parallel to our own, a world in which the souls of the damned are caged, where they are looked over by the Furies, and where they spend eternity in torment, mirroring the devastation and mayhem they created when alive.

Someone has opened the cage.

The worst of terrors has crossed the barrier that separates our world from theirs, and the Furies send a great, albeit untested warrior—their only son, Alek—to try to bring those souls back. He is young and handsome, headstrong and impulsive, and he won’t be able to do it alone.

Eva has grown up, beautiful and beloved, but surrounded by secrets. First, she will be hunted in an ancient feud that will threaten her life. Then, she will become the hunter.

With the police closing in and two worlds on the verge of crumbling around them, Alek and Eva must find each other, discover the limits of their powers, and work together to save everything they hold dear, including one another.

And this second one is strangely enough from an as-yet unnamed series by Rachel Vincent. The book is called The Stars Never Rise.

the stars never riseSynopsis…

Sixteen-year-old Nina Kane should be worrying about her immortal soul, but she’s too busy trying to actually survive. Her town’s population has been decimated by soul-consuming demons, and souls are in short supply. Watching over her younger sister, Mellie, and scraping together food and money are all that matters. The two of them are a family. They gave up on their deadbeat mom a long time ago.

When Nina discovers that Mellie is keeping a secret that threatens their very existence, she’ll do anything to protect her. Because in New Temperance, sins are prosecuted as crimes by the brutal Church and its army of black-robed exorcists. And Mellie’s sin has put her in serious trouble.

To keep them both alive, Nina will need to trust Finn, a fugitive with deep green eyes who has already saved her life once and who might just be an exorcist. But what kind of exorcist wears a hoodie?

Wanted by the Church and hunted by dark forces, Nina knows she can’t survive on her own. She needs Finn and his group of rogue friends just as much as they need her.

I was thinking about giving Amber Smoke a shot, but I am getting a bit picky on what I am trying lately so I will be keeping an eye out on the reviews. Are you checking either of these out?

Cover Lover – 4 New Titles

I was waiting to see if anything new came out over the last couple of days, but it looks like there is only four covers for this batch. Let’s start with the upcoming novella from Eileen Wilks‘ World of the Lupi series. Human Nature will be released on August 18th. It was originally released in the anthology Inked.

human natureFBI Agent Lily Yu is turning twenty-nine—a milestone she’s decidedly ambivalent about. But her birthday celebration is cut short when the naked, heavily tattooed body of a man is found in a Northern California town. The victim was David Pruitt, and years ago, he was close friends with Rule Turner, prince of the lupi.

At first it seems like a bizarre ritual killing, but there’s more than magic afoot: David wasn’t human. And the killer isn’t finished…

This next cover is from Seanan McGuire. A Red Rose Chain is part of the October Daye series, and it is due out on September 1st.

a red rose chainOctober is still recovering from the discovery that Evening Winterrose is alive—but sadly, that doesn’t mean the rest of her problems have taken a vacation. When the King of Silences declares war on the Mists, it falls to Toby and her friends to try to prevent the conflict…a task that will require them to travel to another Kingdom, where old enemies and new will be waiting to ensure that her efforts will come to naught.

The third book in the Winner’s trilogy from Marie Rutkoski, The Winner’s Kiss, will be released next March 1st.

the winner's kissWar has begun. Arin is in the thick of it, with the East as his ally and the empire as his enemy. He’s finally managed to dismiss the memory of Kestrel, even if he can’t quite forget her. Kestrel turned into someone he could no longer recognize: someone who cared more for the empire than for the lives of innocent people—and certainly more than she cared for him. At least, that’s what he thinks.

But far north lies a work camp where Kestrel is a prisoner. Can she manage to escape before she loses herself? As the war intensifies, both Kestrel and Arin discover unexpected roles in battle, terrible secrets, and a fragile hope. The world is changing. The East is pitted against the West, and Kestrel and Arin are caught between. In a game like this, can anybody really win?

And the final one for today is from Rachel Vincent. The first book of her new Menagerie series, also called Menagerie, will be released on September 29th.

menagerieWhen Delilah Marlow visits a famous traveling carnival, Metzger’s Menagerie, she is an ordinary woman in a not-quite-ordinary world. But under the macabre circus black-top, she discovers a fierce, sharp-clawed creature lurking just beneath her human veneer. Captured and put on exhibition, Delilah in her black swan burlesque costume is stripped of her worldly possessions, including her own name, as she’s forced to “perform” in town after town.

But there is breathtaking beauty behind the seamy and grotesque reality of the carnival. Gallagher, her handler, is as kind as he is cryptic and strong. The other “attractions”—mermaids, minotaurs, gryphons and kelpies—are strange, yes, but they share a bond forged by the brutal realities of captivity. And as Delilah struggles for her freedom, and for her fellow menagerie, she’ll discover a strength and a purpose she never knew existed.

Well, what do you think? I sort of thought that Vision in Silver might be, well, silver, but that is nit-picking since at least it matches the first two in the series. I am liking the trend in YA covers to move to a single strong symbol on the cover rather than a model shot…when it is done well, it looks great.

Cover Lover – 3 New Titles

I have been whining for a few weeks about wanting to find a really well done cover, and Patricia Briggs never disappoints.  I saw, like most people have already, the smaller version of Frost Burned that has been out and about for a week or so now, but this is the first full sized one I could get my hands on.  Frost Burned is due out on March 5th.

Now this second one gives me a young adult vibe, even though it isn’t.  Oath Bound is the third book of Rachel Vincent‘s Unbound series, due out on February 19th.

And finally for this post comes the cover for the fourth book from Elle Jasper‘s Dark Ink Chronicles, Black Fallen.  It is due for release on December 31st.

Cover Lover – 7 New Titles

A few more to add to the pile…

Heather Killough-Walden‘s second full Lost Angels book will be called Messenger’s Angel.  This one is due out on June 5th.

This second one was pointed out to me a while ago, but of course it slipped my tiny mind.  Shadow Bound is the next book in Rachel Vincent‘s Unbound series, due out on May 22nd.

Coming in at number three is Tempest’s Fury, the upcoming Jane True book from Nicole Peeler.  This one should be available on June 26th.

Warrior Enchanted is the title of the fourth book of the Sons of the Zodiac series, written by Addison Fox.  This one is due out on May 1st.

And the cover is out for the next book from Lee Roland‘s Earth Witches series, Vengeance Moon.  Look for it on June 5th.

The next couple are from the Young Adult side of things.  Arise is the second book in Tara Hudson‘s Hereafter trilogy, due out on June 5th.

And finally, the cover for the fourth book of Aprilynne Pike‘s Wings series came out recently.  Destined is due for release on May 1st.

Cover Lover – 4 New Titles…

Just a quick couple to add today.  Numero uno isnot exactly the best quality, but it gets the point across.  Crystalfire is the next book from Kate Douglas‘ Demonslayers series, due out on April 3rd.

Gini Koch continues her Katherine Katt series with the release of Alien Diplomacy nest April 3rd.

I read the first book of this series from Jessa Slade way back when, and found it interesting but hard to get into.  Darkness Undone is the fourth book of the Marked Souls series.

And finally, thanks to Nefertari who pointed out the cover for Rachel Vincent‘s upcoming book, Shadow Bound, due to be released in the middle of next year.
